Corkums Land and Sea Safety Training was founded from a passion to help people.

Nicole is a retired nurse, whose lifelong passion was to help and serve the people in her community and beyond. Nicole worked the last 5 years in Emergency and Intensive care at the local regional hospital before retiring. After retiring Nicole decided to keep helping by becoming a trained First aid instructor through the Canadian Red Cross.

Wilfred spent 15 years fishing with National Sea Products in Lunenburg. For the past 30 yrs he has been in the Golf and Construction industry. All of which requires immense safety protocols. He has also witnessed many incidents where training could have helped with a different outcome.

Nicole and Wilfred have been married for 37 yrs. They have resided in Lunenburg County their whole lives. Their greatest accomplishment is having their three children and six grandchildren. They have 2 German shorthaired pointers that they love to go on hikes and camping trips with.
